Academy of Art University Fashion All-Stars Win Accolades in the Future of Fashion Show

The Academy of Art University’s campus, in downtown San Francisco, is designed to give young, aspiring artists the professional groundwork that they need to achieve success in their chosen medium. Student work and graduate’s work is showcased and admired, and nowhere is this clearer than at the 21st annual New York Fashion Week shows in the Skylight Clarkson Square.

Ten recent graduates from diverse background presented at the Fashion Week event, showing off their latest designs. Viewers were treated to a glimpse of five womenswear and two menswear collections. Years of classwork, internships, workshops and last minute brainstorming coalesced into their fifteen minutes of fame, showing off their work in front of an audience of peers, potential mentors, and professors that included Ms. J Alexander from America’s Next Top Model and a livestream audience expecting to be wowed.

The goal of the Academy of Art program was to bring out their visions for the future of fashion. As a result many of the collections demonstrated eco-friendly, recycled items that smoothly merged with traditional dress and clothing inspired by favorite cultures around the world. Among the presenters were people born in China, Mexico, and throughout the United States. The resulting blends were a melting pot of ideas, colors, silhouettes, and styles that spoke to the individuality and creativity of the young designers.

Sunset Magazine’s Creative Director, Richard S. Stephens, founded The Academy of Art University in 1929, based on his conviction that aspiring artists deserved to be professionally trained by professional artists. Its multi-faceted curriculum allows students to major in the artistic expression which speaks to them, whether it be fashion design like the students participating here, or music, photography, animation, and more. With over 18,000 students, The Academy of Art University is the largest private, accredited art and design school in the USA.

This was the twenty-first Future of Fashion show presented by the Academy of Art University, showing just how deep the talent network has been out of the undergraduate Fashion department. Graduates have even gone to win accolades at the prestigious New York Fashion Week in New York City.

How Malcolm CasSelle Has Served As A Top Executive In The Technology Industry

Additionally, he was brought in as one of the leaders of a joint venture between China’s Tencent and America’s Groupon.

As an investor, Malcolm CasSelle has invested in several companies over the years that were startups at the time. This includes such successful companies as Facebook and Zynga. He also has invested in companies that are involved in the Bitcoin industry.

For a few years, Malcolm CasSelle worked for SeaChange International. He was this company’s general manager and senior vice president. Prior to this he was the chief executive officer of Timeline Labs. Timeline Labs was acquired by SeaChange International in 2015 and after the acquisition he was chosen to be a top executive.

Malcolm CasSelle is a graduate of MIT which is where he earned his bachelor’s degree. He also attended Stanford University, earning his master’s degree. Both of his degrees are in computer science. Additionally, while attending school he learned to speak both Japanese and Mandarin fluently. This has helped him during the course of his career as he has held positions in companies in both Japan as well as China.

 

NewsWatch the Number one Review Broadcast

NewsWatch TV is a consumer-oriented TV broadcast that has various segments that allow the consumers to market their products. The television network takes the outlook of entertainment, consumer news, mobile apps review, electronic reviews, government and medical news. When the organization started in the early 90s, it featured mainly financial matters. NewsWatch later expounded its horizons by airing television magazine shows which covered various scopes. Various companies have come forward to give their testimony on the advantages of marketing their products on the television review segments. NewsWatch worked with SteelSeries, a company that deals with electronics and headphones. The network worked on two sections which were advertising their headphones and game controllers. The company hoped to reach a broad audience within a short time. Tori Pugliese of SteelSeries started working with the company in 2013 and applauded the experience of working with NewsWatch. The firm understands the S&T process and product PR while delivering the intended message in a way the consumer can relate to in their language. They started by pitching their product, and NewsWatch carried out the rest of the heavy lifting. Working with NewsWatch has been very helpful to the SteelSeries.

She attended the Fashion Institute of Technology where she learned how to showcase and advertise her exceptional style more.
