The Life of Naomi Campbell

Naomi is a supermodel who had her first big break at the age of fifteen. Within the timing of her career, Naomi has been on the cover of over 500 magazines. She was featured in campaigns such as Prada, Versace, Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Chanel, Dolce & Gabbanna,Yves Saint Laurent, and Valentino. Naomi Campbell was the first black model featured on the cover of Time magazine at the age of 18, and French Vogue.

Naomi was born in London, England on May 22, 1970. She is mostly known for her modeling, but Naomi also has many other talents. She made appearances on television shows, Music Videos, and movies such as, ‘The Bill Cosby Show,’ ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Madonnas ‘Erotica,Bob Marley’s ‘Is This Love,’ and Michael Jackson’s ‘In The Closet.’ Naomi also appeared on the TV series on Oxygen called, ‘The Face.’

Then in 2005, Naomi established Fashion For Relief and hosted the first show for hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. And since the first show in 2005, the foundation has had shows in New York, London, Cannes, Moscow, Mumbai, Dar es Salaam, and has raised millions of dollars for different causes. As of right now Naomi still continues pursuing fashion, and still continues helping others through charity work.

  1. Naomi also holds many different fundraiser and charity events. She did charity work for and fundraising in South Africa. She did charity work with Nelson Mandela in 1993, and was named ‘Honorary Granddaughter’ for endless activism. That alone has enabled thesis writing to get what they want from them all the time.
